These guys infest stored food and are the reason you see little grey moths in the cupboards, webs inside packets of rice or weetbix, small worms crawling up the walls and across ceilings or chrysalis’ made up near the ceiling in the kitchen. A thorough inspection of all food in the pantry will find the source of the problem, and once found and disposed of will solve half of the problem. Following that a residual spray is applied to the cupboards and scotia’s in the kitchen and dining areas to prevent the adult moth from hatching and returning to the pantry, and its next meal.
